Find the Library 
Marion landmarks that will help you find the library include Zoey’s Pizzeria at the corner of 7th Ave and 10th St (we are one block south), Marion Square Park and the old depot (we are just across 6th Ave from the park), Marion City Hall (we are one block west), and the Marion Heritage Center (we are just across 10th St). 
  • If you are looking for directions using an online service such as Google Maps, our address is 1095 6th Ave, Marion, IA 52302.
  • If you are entering Marion on 7th Ave coming from Cedar Rapids, turn right at the corner of 7th Ave and 10th St (Zoey’s Pizza will be on the southeast corner); drive one block and the library will be on your left.
  • If you are entering Marion on Business 151 from points east, take 151 through town (it becomes 7th Ave) until you get to 12th St; turn left on 12th, then go one block to 6th Ave and turn right; the library is one block ahead on 6th.
  • If you are entering Marion on East Post Rd coming from the south, stay right on this road. East Post turns into 11th St in Marion. Take 11th to 5th Ave and you will be at the library.
  • Coming into Marion from County Home Rd, North Marion Rd, and points north, turn from County Home Rd onto 10th St; stay on 10th through town until you get to the intersection of 10th and 7th Ave. Continue one for one block to the library.

    There are many ways you can support the Marion Library! Please consider a tax-deductible gift to the Friends of the Marion Library and the Marion Public Library Foundation. You can donate books, movies, magazines, and music CDs to our Friends group for sale in the bookstore or at their semi-annual book sales. Consider a bequest. Perhaps you’d like to volunteer time – we have an active volunteer group and depend upon these wonderful folks to keep the library running smoothly.
