Are you a teen who loves to write? Want to push yourself and your work? Up for the challenge of writing 50,000 words in thirty days (or less!)? Join us at the library for National Novel Writing Month!
Every Tuesday afternoon in November, we will have a quiet space for you to work on your novel. Challenge yourself with writing exercises, participate in "word wars," and receive prize slips for every 1,000 words you write. Use the prize slips to enter the drawing for our Writer's Grand Prize Basket--including a giant pencil, official NaNoWriMo merchandise, and more!
Bring your own snacks, writing materials, and/or laptop. Several library laptops will be available for use. Registration is not required.
---> With a parent's permission, sign up for the official NaNoWriMo Young Writer's Program and join our online group for moderated writing discussion and extra encouragement! <---
